The olive leaf was used as a symbol in ancient Greek jewellery and it symbolised wisdom and prosperity. The olive tree was a gift from the goddess Athena and it was supposed to endow safety and success on anyone who wore or owned some leaves. 
These leaves are sterling silver with howlite and lapis beads.
